Responsibilities:
- Receive food when delivered by school district to kitchen/classroom or building location.
Check and record food Temperature.
Divide and distribute food to be sent to classroom.
Clean Pans, Dishes, Serving Utensils after food service.
Take inventory of Milk and Fruit orders.
Work with appropriate school districts to coordinate delivery system.
Assist Nutrition Manager with creating cooking / nutrition lessons for all classrooms.
Experience:
- Previous experience in nutrition education or related field is preferred - Knowledge of current nutrition guidelines and principles - Strong communication and presentation skills - Ability to work with diverse populations, including students of different ages and backgrounds.
Please note that this position may require some travel between different school locations.
