The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, dedicated, team player that has the desire to make a positive impact on individuals in recovery.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required; individuals in recovery Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred Valid PA driver's license, minimum one-year safe driving record Job Duties:
Help clients achieve treatment goals and objectives by coaching and guiding clients in resolving simple problems and acquiring skills for living a sober lifestyle.
Involve family in treatment during virtual visits and telephone contacts, reporting outcome to the treatment team.
Demonstrate an understanding of stages of change and developmental stages of individuals, and initiate appropriate treatment based upon their needs.
Demonstrate an understanding of behavior interventions and supportive interaction.
Monitor clients for compliance with Resolutions Recovery Center's expectations, rules and regulations.
Monitor clients to ensure their safety and well-being through regular rounds and roll calls.
Monitor cleanliness of unit, reporting any maintenance variances to the supervisor.
Monitor client attendance and behavior at 12-step meetings, educational sessions and meals.
Document's facility and activities to ensure the ongoing maintenance of records and reports.
Supervises clients doing their chores.
Conducts group activities for clients and assist in community meetings if necessary.
Transport clients to and from appointments and outside 12-step meetings.
Assists with room and belongings searches when necessary.
Report all incidents including potential incidents of abuse or neglect immediately to direct supervisor.
Observe, respond to and report potential hazards which may result in an accident or injury to the client, staff or others.
Demonstrate job specific knowledge of fire and disaster preparedness during drills or actual situations.
Protect client rights and apply the principles of client privacy and confidentiality to all practices.
Meet all standards for DDAP, PA Health Department, Resolutions Recovery Center, and ASAM standards.
Skills/
Qualifications:
An understanding of basic principles and methods of drug and alcohol treatment programs.
An understanding of basic behavior management and program planning principles.
Ability to make judgements regarding clients and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
Strong problem-solving abilities and abilities to follow supervisor's directions.
Good written and oral communication skills Good planning & organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Enthusiastic with positive attitude.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
